Meet the Couple: Jessica and Dave

Jessica is another friend from Atlanta and Passion City Church. We first met through mutual friends and then ended up in the same Sunday "family group". Our friendship grew in the summer of 2017 when we were in the same Bible Study (Walk in Grace: Colossians). We're girls so obviously we've talked about guys a lot, especially when Dave came on the scene. It was truly a celebration when Dave proposed, and I was honored when Jess called me to ask if I would be her coordinator. Having friends who believe in you are just the best!

Jessica and Dave's Story

Jess and Dave met at Oracle, the software company where they both work. They like to joke and call it O-Harmony! On their first date they both agreed "this could be our last first date" but it took Jessica much longer to admit to herself and to Dave that she was all in!

Their Favorite Things

Jess lived in Atlanta for most of their relationship while Dave lived in South Carolina. Now that they're in the same city, they love going on walks in their new neighborhoods and chatting over coffee in the mornings. Jess said her favorite thing about Dave is how funny he is. He always makes her and others in a room laugh. David said he loves that Jessica has a big heart for others.

The Proposal

On NYE in 2015, Jess and Dave had their first date in Atlanta (their 3rd overall). They went downtown to scalp tickets for the FSU bowl game. After the game, they went to BierGarten for food and drinks to continue getting to know one another. When it came time to propose, Dave recreated their time downtown (minus the bowl game) and proposed in the spot where they purchased their game tickets. After that he continued the surprise and trip down memory lane by having all of their friends and family at the BierGarten waiting to celebrate their engagement!

The Wedding

Their wedding will be on September 8, 2018 in downtown Charleston. So we are just DAYS AWAY! She's always loved the historic city and chose it as the place to start their new lives together. Jess' style is classic and sophisticated, which I can't wait to share with you all.*engagement photos taken by Dave's niece Brayden Beebe. Thanks Brayden!
