I am so excited to share Leigh and Hunter’s wedding with you today! Leigh was referred to me by a wedding planner friend in Charleston, and I am so grateful. Leigh and her mom were so great to work with and I was honored that she also got her dress from our boutique. She wore the blush Abigail gown from Blue Willow by Anne Barge. Leigh and Hunter got married in May at the Bleckley Inn in downtown Anderson, South Carolina. They had to change up their date, ceremony venue and change from a band to a DJ, but they handled it all great! Everything went so well that day, not a beat was missed.Anyway, let’s get to the wedding! Leigh didn’t want anyone to get a glimpse of her pink wedding dress but we did include some pink touches to give everyone just a little hint of what was to come. I’m in love with her Birdie blush slippers! Her bridesmaids wore navy and she used ginger jars all throughout the reception, which added the perfect southern touch and tied it all together. All of the florals in the outside courtyard were absolutely dreamy! Linda’s Flower Shop did such a wonderful job. I love the fern-lined aisle and love even more that they came from her parents home. A sweet personal addition to this wonderful day! Meredith Piper was onsite doing a live painting and I’m always fascinated with the talent artists have! Her painting of the day is beautiful!
